Thoughts and Updates - July 19, 2010

Wednesday Bible Study
The Bible Study meets in the Church Fellowship Hall at
10:00. The current study is from the Book of Mark.
Anyone available to meet at that time is welcome to join.

Sunday Evening Service.
The service is at 6:00 and currently features a short
devotion along with discussion, singing, communion and
prayer.

Alan's Thoughts and Updates
We are now in the midst of our summer vacations and
other activities and as usual our attendance is down a little
but not as much as I had anticipated. I am really amazed at
the number of visitors we have had this summer. Last week
we had a family visiting from Selmer TN, that was just in
town for the day. We are constantly having people come
and go. In addition to getting to meet new people we have
our building being used for different things this summer.
Like a youth group that is using the building for an over
night stay on their way from Nebraska to Chattanooga TN
for a youth event, and a orphan choir from Uganda that will
be practicing here for a couple of days.
I thank God for everyone here at St. Bethlehem Christian
Church and I look forward to working not only with
everyone that is here now but also those that will come in
the future. I also ask for his Spirit to continue to guide us in
accomplishing "his will" here in Clarksville.

Monthly Potluck Update

The July Fellowship Meal was a
week late on the 18th. It was well
attended and we had great food as
usual. The next meal will be after
the service on August 8th.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast
The fellowship breakfast
Saturdays at 8:00AM In the StBCC
Fellwowhip Hall are not meeting
during the Summer.
